Boosts!!

Sounds such an odd word but I like it!

It made me so happy this week to receive an affirming message from an academic composer/performer/educator from Canada who finds this project exciting.  I know lots of women have said they do and I'm getting excited at the prospect of working with them.  In that regard I do need all the applications and payments for the first session in place so that I can engage the woman who'll lead the theatre improvisation sessions for us.  I want to know it's her who will be guiding us through all these new experiences rather than a last minute professional I don't know, so please send your forms back asap so we know we good for the off!

Second boost is that the project has been offered a rehearsal venue in Truro for one, or possibly two, of the September workshops.  We could have had the same space in November but adjacent noisy activities could have been a distraction so I decided to keep with the big space at UCF, Tremough.  I'm looking forward to older women using the building and taking their place and space there.

Third boost is that the blog continues to be read around the globe and, although the numbers of readers aren't huge, they are important to me and I feel a sisterhood with older women around the globe.

Yes.  And the sun is shining today as I listen to 70s rock tunes that I freaky out danced to when I was 15.  Kim x :-)
