Seeking Singers for Body/Opera workshop
Body/Opera is a new rehearsal and training technique that seeks to create a new breed of performer and develop a new way of creating opera. Based on Viewpoints, Body/Opera uniquely translates physical methods of improvisation into the realm of musical performance. The training builds through a series of exercises towards physical and vocal improvisation and teaches how it can be used as a rehearsal technique as well as a method to develop new work.
As a training method, Body/Opera develops a performer's stage presence, sense of space and time, and their spontaneous reaction to other performers.

This workshop is FREE.
Participants should be classically trained singers with an interest in movement.

- a headshot and CV - a recording of your voice - a short paragraph about why you're interested
