Andy and I produced a booklet summarizing the intent and activity of POWOW, showing of 4 of the 5 workshops.
I also produced a home made movie using Windows Movie Maker which is 1.25 gigabytes. This took up a lot of time, especially as it was my first attempt at using Movie Maker and I had just a few days to put something together when term had finished and there weren't many people about to help. Luckily Andy was able to show me how to do the basics and was on hand if I got stuck - which I did. We've both learned a lot about and through collaboration and I'm so grateful to him.
I'm going to attempt pasting pages from the booklet, the front page of which was the front of this blog.
Before you look at the photos I'd like you to know that their purpose is many and varied but it was never an intention to 'show the best side' or only print that which is flattering. The photos are an honest reflection of the work we did and the physical, mental and emotional states of us as players, students and women. Part of the ethos of the whole project is to accept oneself in the present moment and not wait for the ideal size, shape, mood or situation to come along before beginning something but to operate from respect for self and one another and honouring whatever is revealed, shared and learned.
I'll add a page of the booklet to the blog a day and share what's revealed in each where appropriate.
